It has been a really busy spring at NORDIC FLANGES. My first 6 months as CEO of the Nordic Flanges Group have been some of the most interesting and challenging months of my career and I really enjoy being a part of this Group!
During this short period, we have hired a new product manager, Patrick Hellström. Nina Nordlund also joined the company as sales assistant. September 1:st we welcome Johan Isaksson as Nordic Flanges Group new sales director and also Christer Pettersson joins us as our new sourcing manager. Today, Matz Blidby, joins us as Group CFO. In short, we have built up a strong foundation of competence to help us reach the high goals that I and the Board of Directors have set for this Groups future growth.
We have also made some big investments. At Ferral Components in Kalajoki we have invested in a new high-tech plasma cutter and we are currently looking for another new CNC machine. At our aluminium foundry in Kronoby we have invested in a new chip separator unit. Big investments have and are being made at NFAB in Örnsköldsvik. During spring we installed our plasma cutter and this summer we install our new forging furnace. It will not only improve our capacity; the new furnace is much more environmental friendly and energy efficient.
I wish you all a sunny summer holiday and I look forward to autumn and a prosperous business together with you.
